What personal qualities do you think are important to have when discussing sensitive topics like immigration?

Everyone should be allowed to live where they want. All should go through the same screening process to make sure they aren't a threat though.

With proper screening, there should be no other reason as to why someone is not allowed to live somewhere that they please.

An open mind, understanding the issues and causes for someone to flee their own country.

Legal, lawful immigration of people who want to adopt American principles and values as well as contribute as a responsible citizen are more than welcome to begin the process of becoming a citizen. Entering illegally shows a disregard for our laws and our values.
