How do you navigate the desire for cheaper goods with concerns about the conditions in which they are produced?

It is extremely unethical to sell a product knowing it is potentially dangerous. Companies need to be held liable for endangering its customers. They should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law when selling knowingly harmful goods. The FDA recalls hundreds of millions of food units every quarter. This was resources wasted that could have been used to produce more safe food.

Make most good for sell be localy grown or porduced. This will decrease copetition for large corpration, and result in a decrease in price of good, and keep the qualtiy good. Goods that must be manufactured can continue to be so aslong as they can be localy manufactured and that can't will be imported form a place that is producing good quality products.
