Can you think of a moment when a simple, immediate solution actually caused more problems later?

One example that comes to mind is when I tried to fix a leaky faucet in my bathroom. I thought a quick and easy solution would be to tighten the faucet handle to stop the leak. However, overtime, the constant tightening caused the handle to break, making the problem even worse.
