Unfortunately not because we, as humans, exist. We are not infallible. We are not perfect. If even one person can profit from any kind of altercation or disagreement, they're gonna do it. Even though we may all say we want world peace, because of our very nature that will always be unattainable.

Over time, all things change. That is the one guarantee about time. It is not certain that war is inescapable because we do not know our future and how we will be forced to adapt or how we decide to change.

I agree with this answers because as stated above we as people long for world peace. However, how can that be achieved in a society where militarism is so prominent. We say we want to end war, yet it continues to remain constant.
