Well if we talked more about International history more than our own National history it could cause some problems and some benefits. One thing is that Global history can lead minors to be more interested in international affairs and are more willing to be more active in this. However this could potentially cause apathy of the young when the topic of National affairs and could be generally less patriotic to their country which could make problems like less support and other things that I’m not gonna go into because this page is already getting really long. On the other hand if we taught… Read more more about National history, it could make the young be more patriotic and more supportive of our country. The problems for this are if the young could develop nationalistic tendencies it could be hard to gain their support for international conflicts and other issues. Mainly because of the “NATION ABOVE ALL IN THE WORLD!” Sense. The people wouldn’t want the nation to help “weaker, inferior nations” just for the sake of humanity or friends. This makes influencing other nations quite difficult sometimes because the people wouldn’t support it. That’s a few pros and cons of National and International education. Now this is mainly my opinion and these statement are generally just from a basic understanding. So if I ruffle any feathers for my explanation I just want them to know that this is my opinion I’m not trying to be rude I’m just saying what I think.
