How do genetics or family history play a role in an individual's approach to temperance?

 @9HPVQHT from Minnesota answered…5mos5MO

If an alcoholic were to have a child I believe that it could go 2 different ways, for example, the child could either do the same as their parent and drink or the child could do the opposite and not drink. I think it depends on the child but at the same time it could stem from their parents.

 @9HPF2HF from Delaware answered…5mos5MO

If a lot of the person's relatives have drank, then they may feel that it's okay for them to drink as well without having a restraint for themselves.

 @9KHFTSS from Colorado answered…3mos3MO

A good life fits with the concept of temperance because it guides us in our enjoyment of good things in balanced moderation.

I think we need to have people understand that alcohol is an addiction, and important to prevent, and also we should let people do as they please, as long as it does not danger themselves and others.

How can we use technology or social media to promote the idea of moderation in lifestyle among the youth?

 @9HJBJ64 from North Carolina answered…5mos5MO

We can spread the word and try to tell kids and youth the affects of alcohol, since there is no hard set way to stop some sort of underage drinking if it's provided from an external party. It gets increasingly difficult.

In what way could an emphasis on quality over quantity change your daily choices?

 @9LJ2SQF from Utah answered…1mo1MO

Quality over quantity means that products will be better but more expensive. So things that regularly are good enough but not the best, will end up costing more than they are worth to any one individual.

 @9LJ2PR7 from Utah answered…1mo1MO

I think it would generally increase the quality of experiences and goods.

they should have to control on who or how people get their alcohol because it could put people in danger and lead to other bad situations.

 @9K9QG2N from California answered…3mos3MO

My cultural issue and I believe the drinking of alcohol should be reduced and no one should drink it at all because it does bad things to you.

In today's society, where is the line between enjoyment and excess?

 @9HJ984C from Missouri answered…5mos5MO

The line between enjoyments and access when it comes to to temperance is alcohol for example because of all the losses we’re having of our lives and all the people getting out of control over a bottle. We must have freedom and have fun in our lives but abusing it from the grace of god is not okay and shall be provoked.
