If you were to witness someone's rights being violated, what would you do, and why does it matter?

 @9KS4974 from Georgia answered…2mos2MO

Well honestly participation is key in any democratic or republican stance so ofc we have to keep it up man

 @9KS5CMWRepublican  from South Carolina answered…2mos2MO

I would tell them that their rights are being violated, so they aren't being taken advantage of, and recommend counsel or other legal services. This matters because too many people are unaware, so if you know better, you can help them.

 @9KS55DN from Missouri answered…2mos2MO

The victim should call in respected associates of both the victim and the perpetrator.

 @9KS48FB from Georgia answered…2mos2MO

I would speak up against it depending on how serious, and the time and place

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2mos2MO

When a decision affects both you and others, how do you think it should be made?

 @9KY2J3G from Maryland answered…2mos2MO

Depends entirely on the degree to which it affects people and to what end.

 @9KY2HX7 from Indiana answered…2mos2MO

it should be made carefully but openly on how it would affect individuals

 @9KXZLLYanswered…2mos2MO

It should be made by a person that's democratically decided to be the ultimate decision maker, with inputs and considerations from multiple perspectives, both positive and negative, with the decision making process being transparent as possible.

The ability to vote means everything to me. Every aspect of American life can come down to a vote in any circumstance. So I believe it is important to be able to vote for a better country and a better future for all Americans, even if they may not agree.

What does 'political freedom' mean to you, and why is it important in your life?

 @9HHL7N5 from Louisiana answered…5mos5MO

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE YOUR OWN POLITICAL OPINON AND BE ABLE TO STAND WITH IT.

 @9HHLQDTPeace and Freedom from Louisiana answered…5mos5MO

It means to be free and it's important to my life because it affects the people and how they feel

 @9HHL7Q3 from New York answered…5mos5MO

Political freedom is when I am granted rights as an American citizen that are granted to me by my constitution that guarantees me my natural rights. This is important to me because it is hard to live a life without guaranteed freedoms.

 @9HHLG98 from Utah answered…5mos5MO

it lessens the fact of being free and that is what America is based on. Yet I'm in high school and I'm not necessarily qualified to speak on this topic but that's my personal beliefs.

 @9HYCHCZdisagreed…4mos4MO

Whether you pay attention to government or not the government affects every aspect of our lives and how we can live. You will be greatly disappointed.

 @9HY9PNR from Ohio answered…4mos4MO

I would not like the government and the things they do a lot more due to it.

 @9HY9LXX from Illinois answered…4mos4MO

I hope that I would still have the courage to speak out and challenge inequalities or unfair treatment.

 @9HY9HV3Democrat from Arkansas answered…4mos4MO

Not much really, I would probably just hear less about the government as much stuff heard is criticizing towards them.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

Have you ever witnessed or experienced censorship, and why is freedom of speech essential to democracy?

 @9HTVPWVRepublican from Illinois answered…5mos5MO

The freedom of speech in important because then everyone is heard and then no one is getting their feeling hurt and everyone is equal.

 @9HTV2MK from Indiana answered…5mos5MO

I have seen both of my parents censored on social media, and I think that free speech is necessary because it provides a lot of different points of view on different issues. It also is a human right

How do fair elections impact your confidence in the future of your country?

 @9HYBLFVPeace and Freedom from California answered…4mos4MO

The more fair the elections are and how great the presidents turn out, the more confidence I have for my future.

 @9J27TCK from Virginia agreed…4mos4MO

It is because if the elections shows off to be as fair and the person I am choosing to become a president shows to be doing changes for the country it will be making me feel more confident they will be doing as they say.

 @9HYB7SB from Virginia answered…4mos4MO

Society could hear all voices by constantly holding votes and censisus to get american's votes

 @9HYB3KJRepublicananswered…4mos4MO

I think that people need to listen to each other and have an open mind so all opinions are heard.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

Have you ever encountered a law that felt unfair, and how might a more open society prevent such laws?

 @9HDRFPQ  from Ohio answered…5mos5MO

I think a law on childern being able to transition while theyy are still a child would not be ideal

Anti-trans laws are unfair and just limit rights in general, getting rid of them would provide for a better more open society
